I wish it had keyless/push button start and door lock/unlock. I don't want to have to take the keys out of my pocket.

I agree, once you have had push button start it's hard to go back to a key!

From the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu base manual:

As an added safety feature, if the wipers are on for

more than thirty seconds, the vehicle’s headlamps will

turn on automatically. They will turn off when the wipers

are turned off.

2014 Silverado does this too with some more caveats. From the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Owner Manual on page 6-4:

Lights On with Wipers

If the windshield wipers are activated in daylight with the engine on, and the exterior lamp control is in AUTO, the headlamps, parking lamps, and other exterior lamps come on. The transition time for the lamps coming on varies based on wiper speed. When the wipers are not operating, these lamps turn off.

Move the exterior lamp control to P or ; to disable this feature.

Dunno, but I like it. Was driving along one day just after I took delivery when it started pouring. Went to turn on the lights and they were already on! Remembered I read it in the Owners Manual...
