AFM has an option, and maybe its just me or the truck, but these wipers stink. Maybe its the wiper arm itself. Noisy, and yes they are clean.

Push button start and door unlock button on the handle. My mazda 6 doesn't need a key to start its nice to keep it on my belt when I'm out and about.

Infotainment enhancements with a real app store.

From the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu base manual:

As an added safety feature, if the wipers are on for

more than thirty seconds, the vehicle’s headlamps will

turn on automatically. They will turn off when the wipers

are turned off.

3-9

2014 Silverado does this too with some more caveats. From the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Owner Manual on page 6-4:

Lights On with Wipers

If the windshield wipers are activated in daylight with the engine on, and the exterior lamp control is in AUTO, the headlamps, parking lamps, and other exterior lamps come on. The transition time for the lamps coming on varies based on wiper speed. When the wipers are not operating, these lamps turn off.

Move the exterior lamp control to P or ; to disable this feature.

I think this is a California vehicle law. If it is raining headlights must be used

Dunno, but I like it. Was driving along one day just after I took delivery when it started pouring. Went to turn on the lights and they were already on! Remembered I read it in the Owners Manual...

this thread just proves to me that no matter what options the manf. has on vehicles and what packages they are in they cannot please everyone. they could have all the same options as every other of the big 3 except for "that 1 option" that people will bitch about. yeah there are options that GM doesn't have and I would like, like color matched handles and mirrors etc. but honestly that is easy to fix. I would much rather them focus their attention to the quality of their engines, trans and diff's (which idk about yall but im very happy that finally ditched the 10 bolt and went to a 12 bolt). I would like my 4wd truck to have a little more clearance from stock but I would really like electric front and rear lockers in the diff.

honeslty all this debating on the freaking DRL's and lights coming on when the wipers are on is just a bit ridiculous, not that important. if it is raining that hard or snowing that hard and your having a hard time seeing people then you prob need to slow down anyways. im not one that slows down just because a little rain fell but if it's raining hard enough and I feel that going the speed limit is unsafe I slow down.

the fact that yall think that they should make the wipers / lights a law is a bit dumb and over dramatic.
