Yeah, they are great buddies. I got Kody a couple weeks after buying my first house. Cooper, my son, came along about 9yrs later (he's almost 5).

 

I'm so scared of the day Kody goes to dog heaven, it's gonna be hard on everyone.

That's always hard for a kid when they lose their first pet... I still remember that like it was yesterday.

 

Looks like he's got lots of life left in him though.

 

They really do become part of our families...I sure know mine is a big part of ours too
