How did you manage to get license plates already on your new truck if you just picked it up on Tuesday?

In VA you pay your taxes at the dealer and the plates go on that day.

Boring, I know, but cleaned it up a bit before the family gathering on turkey day, and found a suitable object to fill the front license plate spot... ;-)

New to the forum.
Got this back in July here in California.
Sierra 5.3 SLE 4x4 Z71.

Previously had a Yukon.
Added the GMC under-seat storage, Reflex bed liner, and Truck Cover USA Tonneau.
Luckily no major issues so far, its been a great truck.

Taken it on several long trips 6+ hours, really smooth comfortable ride and quiet.

Have also noticed the moving driver seat, and bluetooth is always going silent when listening to music. Thd Bluetooth issue got worse with Apple iOS 8.1 update, which others have complained of on Apple's forums.

A minor gripe is the throttle response is a little weak from a stop, which I think is done to preserve mileage.

The truck will definitely move when the pedal is punched.

Mileage is somewhat dissapointing, on a 6 hour trip to Socal taking me over the grapevine pass with several steep grades, the average was 19 mpg.

Got a recall notice about an issue with the truck's transfer case slipping into neutral (Keep my fingers crossed).

This is my 3rd GM vehicle in 12 years, previously had a 2003 Tahoe, and a 2007 Yukon. Crazy to think I have paid GM $120K for cars in that time.

I love the styling and the ride of the GM SUV/Trucks, which has kept me coming back; although long term reliability still has a ways to go.

Based off of my experience with the previous two SUVs, seems like these trucks start to have minor problems around 100K miles, which pales in comparison to brands like Toyota.
