Pretty sure that 's just a wrap

Might be plastidip as well

Either option would be cheaper, but maybe he's a painter!

Either way, the truck looks great!

Either option would be MUCH less expensive than paint. Not to mention they are both reversible. I'll bet it's at least 5K to have a truck painted... unless he's a painter!

I bet he works at a graphic decal place or something similar. Matte paint on a vehicle as big as a truck would be wayy up there in $$$$. And I've seen some plasti-dip cars but the finish is never as good as a wrap. Looking at the sheen on the guys truck and the quality of the finish I'd bet is a wrap. My guess is that if it would of been painted the bumpers would of been taken care of the same time. Would of been odd to spend all that time, prep work and money to just paint pumpers some other time.

He distinctly said "painted" and later that the chrome (I assume he's talking about the bumpers as well) would be taken care of soon enough.

What incentive would he have to lie about it being paint?

I sense a lot of jealousy towards @Maineman truck. Let him be, regardless of what he did the truck looks nice.

Yes really, I was asking if he actually spent the money and had it properly painted or if he cheaper out and pull on a coat of peel off paint… Plastidip is not a proper paint job, it's an I can't commit to my decision paint job…

If he actually painted it and committed, then I'm impressed. But, if it's plastidip, then it's just another 'meh' truck…

Or I'm aware that I could just order black bumpers and swap em out, money for the paint can be saved, with patience anything is attainable.
