2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits

Well the right side was dead nuts on but the best I could get the left side was -0.5 so I adjusted the right side accordingly. My caster is wicked high but like I said, that's not necessarily a bad thing. 

 

Truck rides nice and drives straight, I think I'm done messing with the suspension. On to the next project.

You're never done. I just literally a week ago after a year got my suspension dialed in.  And next month it's coming off for a 2.5" level on 33s

Ok, ordered 2" drop shackles and I'm going to pull the block when I install. What shocks do you guys recommend for the drop, or are they even needed at on 3" of drop?

I would use the Belltech 2212FF for a 3'' drop.

I haven't changed the shocks and haven't had any issues.

We have two trucks with 3" of drop and both have stock shocks. One truck is a crew cab and the other is a regular cab if that helps.

Same here. Wife’s truck is a SIERRA crew cab and mine is a Silverado RCSB both with shackles 6401 and blocks removed. Both are using Stock Shocks with no issues at all.

Every truck is differant    you'll know once you do it

And if it does need it, typically which shims seem to be working? I'm not against ordering them just in case, I can't have this truck down for too long while I wait for shims to show up.

you were right, I took the back down to 6''.  this time I'm done for real now though

Me too. I'm not lifting mine. I'm slapping the coilovers in, doing the rear shock relocation and I'm done     I'm to old for ro keep switching
