Well guys after what seemed like an eternity, since late September, my truck finally arrived at the dealership yesterday afternoon. Needless to say I'm very impressed with it and it was well worth the wait, their aren't too many 2014's where I live and everyone stares at it so it's getting good attention. I love the truck, and I have almost 0 complaints. One is more of an annoyance and the other is kind of strange. For one my headlights seem to fog up, I don't know why but I've heard of this happening. Is this happening to everyone and what's a good remedy for this? The second is the iPod and Intellilink cooperation. Every time I turn the truck on it plays from where it left off but when the songs over it skips the next song and just shuffles the whole playlist. I tried turning off shuffle on both but it continues to do this. It's more annoying than anything because when I hit back it shuffles to a completely different song! Any idea what's going on? Other than that, the trucks awesome. The 6.2 is a beast of an engine and I'm glad I waited.

 

For those of you that don't know I got an SLT fully loaded. Black leather, heated and cooled seats, sunroof, 6.2, Z71, etc. The only thing they took off was my rear slider which I've pretty much gotten over now. Here she is though.

 

 

I haven't gotten around to taking too many pictures but that'll do for now. I also have some things I'm going to install, had them before the truck was even here.

 

 

- 1 Pair of 5000K HID's for headlights

- 1 Pair of 5000K HID's for fog lights

- 1 Relay for headlights

- 1 Pair of LED's for cargo lights

- 1 Pair of LED's for reverse lights

- 1 Pair of LED's for license plate lights

- 2 fog lights connection cables

 

My goal is to pretty much change every yellow/amber light to white. Eventually I'll get around to messing with those turn signals, a system, tint, lift, etc. But this will do for now.

Hey man, as I have told you, "good things do come to those who wait." I wish I could take credit for that statement, but it sure applies to the ordering process with GM, especially with trucks. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Enjoy your new truck.

Thank a lot everyone for the nice comments I'm really happy with her. I do prefer white diamond, to me it's more luxurious and fits the Sierra look. I love everything so far and driving it is like a dream.

 

Mikeoxbig, I never drove a 5.3 2014 but my old 5.3 gets put to shame compared to this 6.2 I haven't punched it yet because I want to break the engine in but I have hit around 3400 RPM's and the thing put me in my seat. It has power and I can feel it. It's definitely not an engine to take lightly.

 

Moto, I got my HID's from DDM and I was actually going to ask you a question, I have them installed, relay etc. I know the whole deal trust me haha, I got them to work, DRL's function, auto-headlight functions great. The lights are beautiful! Just one issue, for some reason the lights randomly flicker extremely fast and one shuts off. I don't know why, everything is connected right. Any ideas or thoughts for a remedy? I need to drive her tonight and this has to be fixed asap.

 

By the way guys I promised pictures here's a tease of the lights, when they do work they are awesome. I'll be doing the LED's next.

Their was no option it's just the standard ballast that comes with the kits. They both do this but randomly, one flicker while the other will be off. I've used DDM's lights for a lot of vehicles and this has never happened.
