So the 6 clamps, the hold-down hand nuts, strut bars, and clips were not included? I bet Bakflip will send them out fast, I've heard a lot of good things about their service; I personally haven't had to ask them for anything (yet?).

Edit: and the weather strip for the bulkhead...

Correct, all of those things were not included. I spoke to Bak Customer service this morning and they are working on it. They said they will ship the missing parts out as soon as possible from either their warehouse or direct from manufacturer depending on which will arrive to me quicker. So far, so good (except that it wasn't included originally :D )

Questions for Fold a Cover users.

- Can you open and close the tailgate without opening the cover? Looking at quite a few videos and none of them shows the tailgate being opened and closed with the cover fully closed.

- Any issues with installation on a 2016 Denali with the factory bedliner?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You can open and close the tailgate with the cover closed. The only issue would be the weatherstrip on the rear panel would be tucked in instead of laying across the top of the tailgate. There could be a water intrusion issue then.

The FAC should fit on the Denali with the factory bedliner. The FAC rails sit on top of the bed rails.

I'm still trying to decide which bed cover to buy. I've looked at every brand and model I've been able to find that would work best for my needs.

There's definitely advantages and disadvantages to each brand/style, really no wrong answer so it seems, depends mostly on how you plan to use it the most.

A family member has the FAC G4 Elite, I'm very familar with how it functions and it's pretty versatile in function. Another guy I know has a Re-trax, he likes it a lot but not sure it's right for me. Most of the other brands lack something I'd prefer to have, like front panel opening or rear panel opening without the need to open the tailgate each time. I guess I'm leaning towards FAC the most but it's not the perfect solution either.

I'm happy with my ReTrax. They're spendy but nice.

My missing hardware package arrived from Bak 5 days after requesting it. I wish the delivery would have been a little faster since it was their mistake initially, but I'm happy with the product since getting it on the truck. It is a good fit and I like the way it looks.

Looks good. I didn't hook up my drain tubes but if I have water issues I will.

Tonno Pro is a nice brand to look at. Not that well known but super quality and low price.

If you need any accessories, would love to help. We have couple of toys at www.eTruckGear.com and offer honest service ( with 100 % positive Amazon feedback we try hard to be there for the customer)

Stop by on Internet and take a look. We are also Weathertech approved, meaning warranty applies as opposed to purchases on Amazon. Don't like Weathertech? We have Husky or Maxliner. Will be glad to help.

well, my BAK Roll-X has decided to recently take a turn for the worst. Huge cracks in the vinyl near the tailgate which are hurting its water proofing capabilities and one of the slats keeps dislodging from the neighboring slat so it won't close properly every time.

Its only 3 years old and spends almost all the time in a parking garage out of the sun. Take warning for anyone considering purchasing one

I'm looking for a bed cover, but many of the vendors tell me that their covers won't fit with the factory cargo management system. Hard or soft. Have any of you had v similar issues, and found any answers??

I have the bakflip VP. Only installed for about 18 months. Now, Cover is very flemsy and the hinges are showing through. Just a heads up for anyone out there considering. Only had a 1 year warranty. I love the cover besides the fast wear and tear. Starting to see some water when it rains but maybe a small adjustment could fix that

Not looking to spend a ton, $300-$400, for a tonneau cover. Based on the research that I have done, seems the Gator Roll up and the Truxedo Lo Pro fit the bill...I am looking for a low profile, and both of these sit about .5" above the bed. Any other that I should look at?

Thanks!
