So I don't like the factory steps at all on my 2014, they're clunky, stick out too far and to me they ruin the looks. I'm 6'1" and don't need them but my shorter wife does. On my 2011 extended cab I had installed a set of OEM Tahoe running boards and it looked so clean, they mounted flush and there wasn't a gap and it all flowed together with the lines of the truck if that makes sense. As I found out, the rocker panels for the Suburban and crew cab had all the mounting holes in the same place as did the Tahoe and extended cab. They bolted up perfectly once I got the hardware. I'm gonna ditch the ones on it now and try to find a set off a 2015 Suburban. No luck finding a set yet but a set will probably turn up sooner or later. Now I'm wondering if the factory running boards off the earlier generation Suburbans would bolt up. I wish a neighbor drove one so I could crawl underneath and take a look. They are not hard to find.

I bought a set of Amps today from qualitybumper.com.. Spoke to Luis and was very helpful. They have them in stock and ready to ship. Mine will be here Monday.

They have 15% off each item as well..

Steps (75154-01A) $977.46

Plug and Play Harness (compatible with the steps no splicing wires) $133...

Total $1110 plus free FedEx ground shipping.. I thought it was a pretty good deal..PNP pieces cuts install time in half he said.. Still 9 sets available!

The Plug and Play harness is 76400-01A..... The 76154-01A steps and the 75154-01A are the exact same... They only labeled it 76154-01A because they include the PNP harness with the price.. You can do the exact same thing by buying the steps and harness separate at quality bumpers.. Just wanted to clarify as I know some people think that the 75154-01A HAVE to be hard wired in. Not true at all if you purchase the PNP harness with these.

The AMP steps are, by far, the best purchase I've made for my '14 Silverado.

Happy wife, happy life.

Im so sad! Had a set of AMP power boards installed today. Took them forever. I wound up calling tec support after they told me they tried to call and said they were closed for the 4th they couldn't find wire for drivers door and guess what they answered after a few rings . Story to long to tell all of it. I get home one side clunking. Gouges in the door panels, scratched paint one of the fake wood panels clips broken, cable from battery draped across engine not wire tied up. Well I guess ill be back up there tomorrow Gonna be a bad day!!! :nonod:

That is a heckuva deal, I just did this. I figure I can get a few hundred for the set on it now to offset the grand I just spent. Thanks for posting this.

Hope you got this resolved. This is why I went with the Plug n Play version so that they would not have to go into the doors and my total install was 2 hours!

Was looking on eBay and Amazon for nerf bars for my 2014 Silverado Double Cab. All the ones they have show them fitting 2008-2014 or 2015. So they will fit as long as they are Rocker Panel Mounted?

Installed my boards today! Absolutely love them. Will be much more useable once the lift goes on. Took about 3 hours total from start to finish. Very sleek design and tuck nicely under the cab. Highly recommend the product... LED lights look super neat as well.

Well most of it is fixed. They had to order a few parts from GM. Even though they fixed it Im still not happy about it. Took 5 trips 2 days off work and still have to go back when they get the parts in. I know I should have done it myself. I do all the work on my wifes truck and my MC. I just kept looking at the words (professional installation) Lesson Learned wont happen again. Not to mention when they get done they will get the thumbs down to anybody I talk to about their company.

Surprised nobody has requested Nfab boards in chrome. I like the style, but think black boards on a chromed out SLT would look odd.

This is probably getting ahead of myself, but wouldn't these be great if they automatically lowered when you press the unlock key on your keyfob? I already have underside mirror lighting for night lumination and think if those auto deployed with the unlock key would be sweet. Matter of just integrating/combing the deploy sequence with the mirror light/+12v of some sort probably.

Anybody else think that would be a neat feature?

If you tie in to the dome light wire(grey wire in "a" pillar harness drivers side , you can do this. I had to use a relay to switch the polarity to ground. you only have to run one wire from passenger and one from drivers to the relay. they drop and light illuminate when hitting unlock. you lock the vehicle with remote and it raises them. The only drawback is that they stay down until the delay timer goes off(unless hitting the door lock on the remote). won't drop when turning on dome lights either

All, need some assistance. I have a chance at getting some like new OEM 6" steps from the previous year trucks. I hate to buy them only to find out they don't fit. Can anyone for sure say if they will or not?

Just ordered the N-Fab C1489CC-SS wheel to wheel stainless nerf bar set for my summit white '14 Sierra-Denali which will replace the factory chrome running boards. Since I'm keeping the OEM 20" chrome Denali wheels, I choose to go with the polished stainless vs black as I feel they will compliment the truck.

N-Fab advises order fulfillment will be 60-90 days.
