Naw I was away at work when I ordered the truck so I had it all done through the dealer. It has the Magneride system so there's a lot a drop down brackets for sensors and it uses the factory rear shocks.

How difficult is that to install? I'm considering doing that this summer.

Mike, like Crf450 said, the install is very easy and Moto's writeup is excellent. I decided to get into the truck via the parking brake grommet which is underneath the carpet on the drivers side of the truck. I removed the left side kick panel. The grommet is close to the edge of the carpet. I used a cut piece of a metal close hanger, sharpened one end to puncture the grommet, and electrical taped the wires from the Pop And Lock on the other. I have found, as others have mentioned, that the resulting hole in the grommet is small enough that it wraps tight around the wires sleeve.

I then used black-n-golds technique to pick up the signal from the BCM. I tinned the Pop And Lock wires and pushed them into the socket alongside the factory wires and zip-tied them in place. It's easier for you if you unplug the x6 connector. It works perfectly. See post #98 on the thread below. I don't like cutting or splicing into the factory wires if I can help it.

Added some vinyl and debadget it.

The stripes make more sense if you know it pulls a track prepped corvette all summer.

Has a corvette logo and corvette racing on the back window as well.

Trailer is also black and red with a corvette logo on the deck.

Its to cold to get picts of the trailer.

The leveling kit is on order and a bed cover.

Don't have the money for wheels and tires yet. Used it all on a down payment.

I drove it.

After all the mods I've done with the goal of making it better for bird hunt trips, I finally got away on a hunt from SoCal over to southern Arizona. I took the truck over there December 30, and we returned yesterday. It's about a 1300 mile round trip, not counting the local travel. So about 1600 miles total. Probably about 100 miles of dirt roads on this trip. The truck was flawless.

The King shocks rode and handled excellent on and off road.

The Cooper ST Maxx 305/60-18 tires provided great off-road grip as expected

The LED and HID light mods I made proved to provide excellent night vision and convenient use with the way I wired them to the OEM high beam control.

My choice of the 6 1/2 ft bed and the Snugtop camper for this truck paid dividends for hauling all the gear for three guys and a dog on this trip.

The stock 5.3L provided all the power I ever wanted .

I really like this truck.

Nothing much just put a sticker on for my team. fc8c60415431fcb0de87013ebda2f6de.jpg

It's funny cause a lot of people I know are Steelers fans and talking trash about the Ravens and then they end up losing on their own field [emoji23]

Pretty sad how they played last night. I'm a Steelers fan, but there was no way they showed enough consistency this year to convince me they'd win out and go to the Superbowl. Just wasn't going to happen. Especially without Bell. Edited by Daryl Z71

Yeah, Roth came back in and threw the game away. The backup was doing great.
