I thought so, I was wondering if i could just use that trim piece to make my own heads up display. Would you mind measuring the dimension of the hole? And how deep is the collision warning lights. I like to see if it is even large and deep enough for mods Edited by morrislee

Finished mounting the lights on the hood brackets. "Jeepy" for some, but I'm content :)

More moisture got into my fog light assembly because of the shitty LMZ collars separated. The metal and the plastic was suppose to be in one piece as a collar, but they originally broke off once already, super glued, now they broke again. JB welded the shit out of there now too. hopefully my headache is done from now :(

Just the $30 Amazon special haha

The ones I have hooked up underneath the rear bumper have been there for 7 months now and still fire up without skipping a beat (tapped up to reverse lights).... If anything is going to take a beating, it's something inches above the ground, in all kinds of weather and terrain... So I'd say that for $30, they've passed the test.

Coated mine in Aerospace 303 protectant and installed Husky X-Act's in front yesterday. Should have the rear's today and the under seat gearbox tomorrow.

My lights for my hood brackets came in today. Going to put them on tomorrow all I am waiting on is the switches I ordered to match the one for my light bar. I do need to go to Lowes to find some better nuts to mount these with to try and make it hard if anyone tries to take them off.

Not done too much too her since I am in the process of remodeling so my truck hasn't gotten much love besides finally wiring my tow mirrors up. I do have to say props to Lew and his tunes because now he has gotten my truck the power and MPG I love. Not bad at all for a truck with 7" of lift and 35s. Before anyone bashes that its fudged or whatnot this is so far with 5500 miles on this tune and I live in the mountains of TN here so theres no flat land coasting or much of being able to cost down hills as our mountains are literally up and down steep grades.

finally added a spinner knob, I had one in my Yukon and have been wanting to get another, since we got one for the boat last week, I remembered just how much it helped and picked one up on my way home from work CEE523F4-508F-44F4-B8AE-D56C4CB94C83_zps

I don't see how yall are getting averages of 18+ mpg. Must really baby them things. Especially yall with the 6.2. Maybe it's because I tow a trailer almost daily and I run mine like it's a Corvette lol

I was able to get 18 when I babied the hell out of it. This was before I had the exhaust done. Once I had it done my city MPGs dropped by 2 lol. It's like once I had it sounding like a truck I slowly went back to how I used to drive, but still not as bad though. I tend to be the jackass beside a smart car or Prius and cruise right beside them and then almost floor it. When I was young I used to mess with everybody no matter what they were driving and I couldn't stand someone just passing me. Luckily I've grown up when it comes to driving, but most of it is from getting a CDL so I respect driving now.

No really babying it at all. Mostly 65-75 MPH driving. I think its how you jump on the throttle to accelerate. On my "hey i needa go fast" days I average 15.5 MPG but thats like flooring it at all lights and passing people hardcore weaving in and out of lanes.

I even get 17 on the freeway and that's with a 6.2, 10" lift, and 38"s

I've been averaging 17.5 mpg lifetime, about 70% city driving and 30% interstate. 5.3 with 3.42 gears.

Also, today I gave her a spa day. Washed, detailed, waxed. Took me hours but it was well worth it. Of course it's dark and you can't see it, but I took a picture anyway :P
