Here's my 17 6.2 I didn't do it all today but in the 1st week of having the truck I...

 

Swapped the chrome mirror caps and door handles to color matched ones. Added the GM floor liners. I also hardwired my radar detector.attachicon.gif20160803_103015.jpgattachicon.gif20160807_193123.jpg

 

Installed Corsa exhaust with the black tips and an Undercover flex tonneau cover.attachicon.gif20160803_191915.jpgattachicon.gif20160803_191909.jpg

 

Replaced the front red Z71 badges with a white one.attachicon.gif20160807_193813.jpg

 

Tinted the windows. 35% front, 20% rears.attachicon.gif20160809_181107.jpg

 

Next up for mods probably be..

1. Wheels, I'm not a fan of the chrome. Probably going with black sierra reps.

2. Getting rid of the chrome window trim and door molding.

3. Leveling kit. 2.25 Rough country/Pro comp + 2" or 3" blocks for the rear.

huntr117, did you get GM OEM primer-ed parts painted? or already painted off ebay? for the mirror and handles.

They're finally in stock... I ordered Nitto Ridge Grapplers today 33x12.50x20.

They should be here in the next week.

They were already painted. They came off brand new trucks that wanted chrome. I got them from a member on here drg6654. He usually has a few sets for sale.

Just wanted a different look and also a way to preserve the black paint. Really no different than changing the rims, tires, exhaust or intake on a new truck ... there's nothing wrong with it, some of us just want a different custom look.

 

Thinking about peeling it off and going in yet again a different direction. Though those new F250s are pretty amazing haha

Stuffed 275/65r20 Hankook Dynapros on stock height. Found a good deal on wheels and tires roughly 34x11. No rubbing. Just barely clears at full lock but I'm waiting for a leveling kit either way.

Appreciate it. I went with bfgoodrich ko2 285/70/17 aka 33's. The wheels are method racing Grid MR309 17 by 8.5. They look small so I'm thing about going 35's in the future.

I think these wheels and tires look great and the wheels do not look small! I am considering this size of tire. (I understand the 285/70r 17 is technically a 32")

I like to round up for ego sakes!! In person they look small. Might just be me.

Installed B&W turnover gooseneck hitch today. Took 3 hours. If your thinking of installing one, there is tons of videos to help you out, or pm me and I'll give you some advise.

Thanks man, american racing headers paired with a Corsa DB custom exhaust.

Where did you buy your Corsa DB muffler? I can't find any online. Every website wants to sale me a 4 inch inlet/outlet version for a diesel. Thanks!
