HoosierZ Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 What brand catch can? Or is a diy? Do you remember the parts used. I have the HD catch can right now but want something better and a little bigger but I can't bring myself to drop 200 bucks. What type of can Didi you use and did you baffle the inside? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk I machined it myself. It has a compartment in the lid filled with stainless mesh similar to the Moroso can. 1
LTZcoog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I traded my '14 LTZ for a '17 All Terrain and absolutely love this truck. I'm not good with adjusting photos and I've been swamped with holiday clean up so I only have one picture of the new truck. Hoping the weather clears out and I will get some pictures with the sun out. 5

LTZcoog Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Congrats! What was the purpose of the trade? -tapa Thanks. My '14 was staring to have some issues (Passenger and rear seat rattling still rattled after adding foam to it, electrical issue and out of warranty) and had great rates from my credit union. I do outside sells for construction equipment and drive about 1000 miles a week. 1

Sierra Jon Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Trimmed the carpet liners. Really didn't want to zip tie it back. Problem solved. I circled where it was rubbing. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk 1
HoosierZ Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Swapped third brake and cargo bulbs for Phillips LEDs. Added a drain valve to my catch can. I drove about 30 miles today and the can caught about a tablespoon of mostly water.
smcgillis10 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Changed U joints. And found out that the parts store doesn't list a part number for the u joint at the axle. There are 2 different sized u joints for the steel driveline. Had to match one up with their stock. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

I've never had good luck finding u joints for my GM trucks at a parts store, I typically get a OEM Spicer (if my memory is correct) from the dealer. Little bit more but fits perfectly every single time Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Anyway the u joints felt really gritty so didn't hurt to change them. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk 2

Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk Hmm I got 67k and I tow a lot, maybe I should check them next time I have it up for a tire rotation. Did it help at all with the shake or you haven't driven it yet? Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
quise2024 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Thanks! It's a double row 24 " curved. It works good, it's really bright. Here's a wall shot of just the bar. image.jpeg Oh its a double row. I was just going to go with a single row since this particular grille has the thick pieces figured it would block one of the entire rows of lights. Thanks for the feedback i may reconsider now. Do you have any pics with the grille off when you were mounting it? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

When you take out the grille there is a lip on the inside wide enough to mount it. When it's on at night you can't see the bars. Here's a pic of it on. 1
quise2024 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Interesting so you have it mounted on the actual grille. I was thinking it was on those support braces like most others have light bars Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
