What have you done to your K2 today?

Washed my wife's CR-V, before she went to work, and my Silverado. Used Dollar General's "Wheel/Tire Cleaner," when it dried, the looked like I had just gone out and played in the dirt.

looking good. any info on your hood ?? make sure you wash & wax after your done (remove finger prints) well make AL happy.

Add my truck to the list of trucks with a/c issues. At least extended warranty will cover it but I've been hearing there's a month + national backorder on these condensers [emoji107] [emoji107]

Finally got my aeroskin put on - it had been in the garage for at least a month. Definitely a sleek, "skin tight" fit, as promised.

 

Despite the barely there feel, I think it will offer good protection while out marauding around. I don't think it's advised to use two at the same time, though.

ok, i hate to have to ask this/bring it up again, BUT:

 

Ive just spent the last hour looking thru this thread and others in the 2500 forums and havent found an exact answer. Seem those that did this mod to their trucks its been so long ago, their photobucket account pics cant be displayed anymore, so here are my 2 questions about running board lights:

 

1. Drivers side i came thru the boot where the e-brake comes into the cab to get the wire under the truck, on the passenger side, where the heck did you guys come thru to get it into the cab?

 

2. Which wire is it that i'm supposed to tap into that allows those lights to come on when the door is opened, when the unlock button is pressed on remote, and i'm assuming come on whenever the dome lite comes on?

 

Sorry for bringing this back up, but this 2017 is so different from my 2003 i just sold to get this one, i'm stumped.

Didn't get .uch farther tonight. Managed to trim the fender well liners and mount the led fog light panels. Still trying to decide on the led pods without spending on over priced rigids..

Post #12 and #13 are the 2 options to tap. I used the one in Post #12, but then found out about the other option in Post #13 that was easier to get at..

Has anyone tinted their windshield, not just the strip.... Curious to know what a good percent would be that wouldn't be too dark for night driving.

My windshield is 30% with a 5% strip and 5% all around.

Forgot to mention that when I was taking the rear wheels off to install the new blocks a damn wheel stud snapped off[emoji35]

So I'm at the stealership this morning to get a new one slapped on. And of course window shopping!
