I changed my oil for the first time in the new Sierra. 3,200 miles. Put in a Wix filter and Mobil One 0W-20 Advanced Synthetic.

Whilst laying under my truck waiting on the oil to drain I noticed that the rear bolt in the skid plate on my new Zone lift, that my brother was supposed to torque to 65ft lbs was only finger started...I thought I heard a rattle. Torqued it and hoping for no other surprises.

That set up is refurbished so I would look for a new one. I had one of those in my truck my passed down to me at 18 and for the price it gave me good bass. Of course my setup wasn't any competition ready buy it was enough for me.

Almost that bad, just looked on Amazon and the part number Amp list as for my truck, Amazon says doesn't fit my truck, but it's also a hair under $2k. By the time it gets to my door I wouldn't be surprised if it was at $2200 with boarder charges and COD.

Thanks!  So far I love it.  The level kit is a 2" Rough Country kit for GMC Denali with Magneride suspension.  Here's a link to the kit...  http://www.roughcountry.com/gmc-leveling-lift-kit-1311.html

Ordered a rollback hard retractable cover, gm bed lights and a stainless tail pipe tip tonight.  Already have my amp steps installed and my 10 inch JL sub/kicker amp installed (Bose factory stuff). That should do it for a while. I may add the lock actualtor to the tailgate soon as I’m sure I’ll get tired of manually doing it soon since my last two trucks had that from the factory.

Since I added a level kit & new tires earlier in the week, I needed an alignment done.  Camber and caster were still in spec, but toe angles were off by quite a bit.

Over the Christmas break I ended up ordering a new Magnum headache rack, Magnum RT side steps, and had a custom stainless dual exhaust thrown on, Truxedo Duece tonneau cover is on the way and oh and it finally got warm enough to wash it yesterday!

Looks great, love those racks. How does the tonneau install with that rack?

Also, surprised it's warm enough up there for you to wash. I tried once but with single digit and below weather in NH it just turned to a fresh coat of ice.

The magnum racks just use the stake pocket to mount. They work with all between the rail covers. Same goes for the bed rails they make too. (Which are on the list for the future)  

 

Shes got a few icicles on her from the car wash but mostly clean. I’ve had enough of this below zero everyday when I wake up. I’d love some 20 degree days lol

I pulled my Ranger over to my parent's property for a little New Years party at the deer cabin. It's my grandpa's 82nd birthday today. The cabin is way back in the woods and runs on solar power we set up. The 6.2 still pulls strong and holds gears very well on the 35s to my surprise.
