Changed the plastic skid plate out for the aluminum Z71 skid plates on my HC today.

I just got a new issue and I don't know what I did to have this happen.  My alarm will not beep when I hit the lock a second time.  I also noticed that the dash light  flashed rather fast compared to when the alarm was on before.  Any idea what I may have done?

Do you have any door ajar Signals? Usually, no beep means a door is not completely shut. Did you do anything around the lock/unlock Signals?

Added a zone Add-a-leaf which raised the rear about 2”. Going to measure in a week or so to see how much it settles

Not my truck, but had a member drive up from Houston this morning to install some Amazon mirrors. Of course they weren’t wired right out of the box. Running light was landed on the turn signal slot. Instructions said “signal on glass”... yeah, there were no signals in the glass. LOL. Made some wiring changes and made them work as best as I could. This truck is also 2014, which meant I had to run the dreaded RZY Jumper. Nice skin off my finger. Couldn’t find my gloves. SMH.

Gave it an exterior wash and an interior detail, a much needed interior detail. Also removed the steps.

 

Going to price out repainting the front bumper and hood sometime this week. The paint on these trucks suck, so many rock chips. Might get them to paint the grille and headlight trim too. Then it's getting a vinyl wrap on the front end.

I still wish I understood the urge to install jackass ears on a good looking truck.

MAYBE if I towed more than twice a week, not just a ghost trailer.

Not trying to beat on anyone,just trying to understand.

Maybe some people like the added mirror space to see around them better while driving. It’s no different then most pickups on the road being used for grocery getters, and wanting the added ground height to see better, safety

There is a clamshell plastic molding where the skirt panel hook, hooks onto. You have to remove that.

He works in construction and tows a lot. After owning this truck, he said he should have gotten a 2500 since he squats a lots with what he tows. Many upgrade for the added safety. Some add it for the cosmetic appearance and the additional lighting.
