Lots of people have that device, your truck your choice. Can't blame you a bit.

I forgot to take pics of the floor in the back seat, But I used 8mm dynomat in the back of the cab/floor. Super easy and cheap. Longest part of the installation was stripping everything out.

Installed a Range AFM disable device. Now before I get beat up for not getting a tuner, I am still under warranty AND I don’t know enough about them. I wanted something that can’t be found by the dealer. Now with that out of the way...it was soooo nice to use all 8 gears without going into V4 once. Should have bought this the day I bought truck. I verified this is the latest version 8.6R1 purchased from Range. $199 with $10 off and free Priority USPS mail.

Just asking or of curiosity, why would you not want to use v4? I believe in to each his own, just wondering what the advantage is to using this...

Great pick. That will keep you away from

the common issues. Make sure you still check the VLOM filter and change your oil religiously. Nice!!!

I chose this for a couple of reasons. 1) I hate the AFM lifter issues commonly associated with this “fuel saving” technology. 2) I prefer the sound of my V8 vs it trying to be a V4 in sheep’s clothing. 3) I like that I can remove it for any dealer visit without it leaving a trail. 4) It allows me to utilize all 8 gears vs using L7 for reasons 1, 2 and 3 above. 5) It seems (although I don’t have many miles using it yet) the engine is never “lugging along “ like it did the few times I actually had transitioned into V4 mode, this could just be my perception of it all. 6) The transition from V8 to V4 and back to V8 was like a human being experiencing a heartbeat irregularity, might not be fatal but then it could be. Finally) Because I spent good money on a Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust system and it sounds like garbage when it went into V4 mode. I do thank you for asking in a very adult, respectful  way ?

Changed plugs and wires , new low beam bulbs.

Note... removing fender liner makes it much easier changing the plugs n wires. . Especially if truck is lifted .?

Plugs looked decent..70K miles..

Which plugs and wires did you use? AC Delco or another brand?

Installed footwell LED's today, replaced my headlight bulbs, ( passenger side high beam was out). The one on the passenger side is a PIA since you need to remove the air filter box to get at it.  Also installed an Airaid intake tube.
