I just ordered one of these fo rmy new HC! Wonder if the bolts come with it?????

So, the answer is "kind of" - The reason I say that is apparently there's two things you can order. One is the full kit, which comes with the handle, bolts, and bolt covers. The other is just the handle. I learned that the hard way when I ordered the kit, realized I ordered the wrong colour (was thinking of my dad's Silverado for some reason), and called to have them change the order. The guy on the phone decided to just order the handle. So just make sure you're clear when ordering :)

Thanks guys for the comments! I probably won't use much either but my wife is shorter so I am putting it in for her! She always uses the passenger side one!

Now that I have it in a few days - never reach for it.......... maybe the wife will use it....... At least the initial distraction of it in your line of vision goes away - maybe that's It - I forget it's there..........

Just installed my driver assist handle yesterday. Feels so much better than grabbing the steering wheel. Thanks to everybody for the info on part numbers and install. For my install, it was definitely necessary to cut off the triangular plastic guide piece between the bolt holes. Was much easier to finesse into place after that. Thanks to Potts for that suggestion.

I just installed mine. The fit is terrible. There is a large gap in the top corner and the painted metal along the A pilar shows. Pretty frustrated.

Then something is wrong with either the part - or the install - you can see in all the pics it should fit perfectly........ Maybe ask for help at your dealership...........

They probably aren't installed properly, or the wrong part was ordered/you got some knockoff product. I have zero ability to put anything together and I got mine installed with no issue. Where did you order yours from?

I put it on and off a few times the result was not what it should be. I suspect the part but putting it on and off again the plastic pointy piece is wearing. I am not sure I can return it. I may cut it off. The bolts line up well. I have done this type of thing before so I am pretty sure it is not me.

Installed mine today in my 2017 Silverado, simple 10 minute job

Installed this afternoon. Way happy with myself right now.

Where did you purchase it from? Wondering if it's just a crappy reproduction that isn't to specs.
