New car smell

Yeah I have 4k miles on mine, and I don't hardly roll the windows down, though I do leave the air off recirc (because when it's on, the AC is automatically on), and I still have the new car smell. But I like it. It's nice to jump in and get a big whiff..

Though I don't think it goes away as quickly as we just get used to it. I've been in countless cars that are usually garaged, or kept up very well that may have been a couple of years old, and I would still smell that new car smell and when mentioning it the owner would say, Really? I don't smell it anymore. I've had that happen a few times.

My camaro still has the new car smell after two yrs and 2800 miles. Maybe try farting in it more?

Really racking up the mileage there Ryan, better slow down a bit!

Yea, I always love that new smell.

Nothing stinks up the smell of a new car faster than a crappy radio.

A leaky heater core , or a persistent water leak which keeps the carpets soaked, will stink it up a lot worse (literally not figuratively)..

I hope the smell never goes away. Why can't it be reproduced with an air freshener? :)

Why is this post in the Issues, troubleshooting & recalls/service bulletins section?

Maybe the OP knew the complainers were going to come here and turn this topic into an issues with my truck thread?

LOL

My thoughts exactly.
