My crew with 6.2 has steel. My brother's crew with 5.3 has aluminum. Both trucks are 2015 SLT, customization by SCA Performance.

I think the requirements for Aluminum are:

 

5.3L, CC, Short Box, 4x4, Z71

 

or

 

5.3L, DC, Standard Box, 4x4, Z71

 

Anybody have steel with either of these configurations?
