Get the Camaro with the vette setup. Goes better with the Beast of a truck.IMHO.

That is actually what I am doing. Trading my 2014 5.3 LTZ for a 2014 6.2 High Country. Traded in the 08 vette too, not sure what I will get to replace that, either a 2015 ZL1 convertible or 2015 vette.

I can honestly say the only upgrade for me would be the Duramax engine with the HD All terrain setup that is still a concept! Until that sick mo foe comes out then I will be enjoying my 5.3 All Terrain SLE, I loved my 2004 Chevy silv. but I am very very happy with my younger sexier truck, she gets stares, and compliments all day long everywhere we go! KEEPING until a 100% All Terrain GM truck comes out, but even then I may just keep on truckin...

The 2015 ZL1 is on order, velvet blue convertible with black rims and exposed carbon fiber hood.

I have been loyal to GM trucks for a long time -- I've had a 98,02,03,04,05 (company trucks),06, 07, 08,13, and this 14. It is so quiet and smooth I can't believe it's really a truck. GM really hit a homer with this, but I think the new Fords and Rams are probably great too. Engineering has come a long way -- but at a price!

I bought my truck when they first came out, July 2013. I've had nothing but issues, finally traded it in last week on another 2014 build date June 2014. So far so good, issues I had like the trailer brake and radio reception are a none issue on this one. I just hope the seat holds up!!

I will certainly sell out and trade up when something newer catches my eye in the years to come, e.g. 2016+

This is an interesting thread. I love my 2014 high country but I do miss the ride and bottom end torque of my 2009 Ram that I sold to get this one. Just like the look of the Chevy over the Ram this time. GM finally caught up on the interior that my Ram had 5 years ago. If Ram would have been offering zero percent interest I might have went that direction but since they didn't I went back to GM and I'm happy so far. I sure do miss that SS Trailblazer I used to have. It was a beast of a ride.

I love my '14 so far. I haven't had any of the issues that some people here seem to have had. I'm a short bed, regular cab guy, too, and this model has so much of the stuff that they never used to put in regular cab trucks. Nothing special, just the little things like blue tooth, back-up camera, one touch down/up windows... Little things like that. I might trade up in the future if they add the 6.2L, power folding windows, large LCD screen, Bose speakers, and leather seats to the regular cab. Then again, I'm thinking of adding all of this myself. Aside from the engine, of course. That would just be way too expensive and wouldn't pay off in the long run if I ever trade it in or sell it privately. It'd be nice if GM followed Toyota's lead with the rear window, too. I'd love to be able to roll that thing down on a nice day.

Think we all regret having a payment & kind of curious of some of the complaints you read about new cars of all brands in general stem from the stress of said payments? Still remember another brand of dealer

telling me how great my payment he worked up would look over 84 months. :sigh:

I would keep mine if they would actually fix what they were supposed to and give me paint thickness measurements like I requested. 2 more tries on fixing my ecm and wiring, then I am filing a lemon compmlaint if they do not correct it.

I will eventually trade it in when GM builds a better truck or I have need for a bigger back seat.

I love my truck and plan on spending more money on mods but I have to be honest; if Toyota and Nissan put the Cummins 5.0 in their trucks in 2016 without GM answering with something comparable I will be gone once they are proven for a year. I plan on supercharging mine early next year but have always been a diesel fan.
