^^Not the only one. Me too. Same set up as you. Was originally looking at 17" aftermarket but opened up to 18" and 20" wheels as well. Too many choices though.

No one has anything with the stock 17 wheels ? :( I must be the only doofus with 17" wheels on a 2.5" RC 255/70/17 :( lol...

There's a couple guys running 17s on here. One is running 33s and the other is running 35s both on aftermarket wheels

I guess I'll be first since it was my idea (LOL).

Looks great. I think 18s with more rubber look better than 20s or larger. Good job for doing my homework for me.

What do you guys think of 33's on 17" wheels? I much prefer the look of more rubber than wheel, but have not seen a Silverado with that combination. Thinking of the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 255/80/17

Where are you guys buying wheels? Online/local. If online, what's a recommended site. Shopping around for best deal.

If you mean after-market, non-GM wheels, I always use Tirerack.com. They have wheel and tire packages, including sensors, and a wide variety of wheels with guaranteed fit, mounted balanced ready to bolt on. Another reputable site is Discounttiredirect.com (they offer free shipping).

I wanted replica wheels and got mine from oewheelsllc.com.

I love the looks of 33s on a 17" wheel for the Silverado. I agree with Full Lock, if you gonna go 17s do a 285/70r17 or if you wanna go a bit bigger a 295/70r17.

Here's a couple picks.

285/70r17, honestly when I get my truck I'm most likely going with this exact set-up but different wheels.

295/70r17, I'd love to do this but in the end I bet I chicken out with the rubbing. Love these tires.

305/55/20 Duratracs, with a 2.5 level

Nice look VMax. Good to see a Sask boy running the same skins I want to get. Just need to decide on a set of rims before I purchase.

I have the rough country 2.5 level lift kit on stock tires for now. I will be getting bigger tires on the 18 inch oem rims. I like bigger tires smaller rims. Rides better handles better for actual off road use and has that classic 4x4 look. I had 305s on my 2004 with 17 inch rims and it was smooth riding and I loved off roading it when I could. My question really for those who have the 18 inch rims with biger tires. I saw a couple on here, and was wondering if the 305 60(65) R18 rub at all? I dont mind a little rub but better if it doesnt. I will be pricing tires for a while until I cant pass up new tires. I will post a pic up of my setup now with the leveling kit on stock tires. Then as soon as I get the new setup a new pic.
