What kind of aftermarket lugs are you guys running?

Extended Thread conicals or standard conicals? Just ordered Methods and can't find much info on lugs & thread engagement with aftermarket wheels. Toyota guys all run ET's because you only get a couple of threads engaged with standard lugs.

^Posted here with pictures of the differences if you are unsure...Thanks!!

For reference this is a ET Style conical, the extra shank offers more stud engagement through the stud hole on the wheel.

I'm using McGard conical seat lugs. My stock lugs are too big to fit in the counterbores on my Black Rhino wheels.

Depends on tread pattern. Duratracs rub the carpet in that size on a 2" inch Motofab.

I stand corrected. That's the first I've heard of 275/60/20 rubbing with stock wheels.

Thanks! You were happy with thread engagement with the standard gorillas? If I don't hear anyone chiming in on the ET style I am going to order one to see if they will work. Really a lot safer than standard lugs.

Hell i guess, to be honest for the price of methods i'm surprised they didn't come with their own lugs. I just asked a bunch of guys on here who had methods and what lugs they used. Also emailed method and they specifically noted they've had lots of success with Gorilla.

I didn't even look into the style of nut or thread engagement just found out what worked, ordered them, and let my local shop put them on.

Depends on who you order from sometimes they'll throw in free lugs, hell even my method beadlocks didn't come with lugs (300+ a wheel)

Gorilla is the only lugs I'll run, just comes down to which style works best on the Silverados

Couldn't wait for winter to end. If they forcast snow I'll swap the stock wheels back on. Calling for 60s again this week. These 10 plys at 40 psi have the same load capacity as the stock SRAs at 35 psi and they somehow ride smoother. I was worried I'd feel every crack in the road. I guess the deep lugs absorb them better.

285 70 r17 BFG KO2s on Mickey Thompson 17x9 Classic Black (-12 offset). Rough Country 2" leveling kit. No rubbing anywhere. Ride is excellent and nearly as quiet as OEM tires/wheels. Very happy with this setup.

20x10 Full Throttle -24 offset

33x12.5x20 Atturo Trail Blade XT

5100's on top setting in the front. Rubbing rear end of fender well. Not too bad. Debating about going higher or getting slightly smaller tires.

Define "not too bad." More pics! Is that iridium metallic?
