Just installed some Method Racing Double Standards on some 315/70/17 Bfg KO2s. Trucks got a 2” level so yes it rubs and needs to be trimmed but I’m in love with the look.

Mind posting a couple pics when you trim? Curious what's needed to run this tire size

Not at all. Haven’t had a chance to cut all I need to cut but I will post pics when I’m done. It’s drivable right now but definitely needs some more clearance. I think I may raise the front another 0.5”. That should help

Just for reference.

315/70/17 Bfg v 275/70/18 Falken Wildpeak

I didn’t rub at all with the Falkens on stock wheels. The new Methods are a 0 offset which definitely doesn’t help with the rubbing. The Bfg is right at 34.5” on this 8.5 wide rim. The Falkens are just over 33”

I know bfgs run small, but it seems like falkens run big as well

Agreed. However a 315/70/17 comes out to around 34.4 when you do the calculation. Mine are measuring 34.5. Most guys just call these 35s though. The Falkens are pretty beefy. We have some 285/70/17 Falkens on my wife’s Tahoe and there right at a 33.

Damn that's big, my nitto g2's in 295/70/17 are a little under 33 mounted on the rear. Guess I won't be afraid to go with the falkens next time around for fear of them being too small.

Speaking of, pics of said Tahoe?

just sold my 2015 2500 gas burner. Man I loved the way this truck looked just wasn’t real practical as a DD. Cooper ST maxx 11.50 x 34.  Bought a 2018 z71 in September. Just ordered a 2 inch level kit and either 285/60/20 or 305/55/20 Toyo open country RT. Will post pics next week I hop.
