Just did a trip from Lake Tahoe area to Southern California. Got a new best in fuel economy at 33.1 MPG. Has anyone else gotten such mileage. Posted a pic.

Do you have the V6? My best mileage with the 5.3 over 100 miles is around 26 MPG.

I'm in Canada and on a recent 300km trip I got 9.0L/100km! I put it in the calculator on google and it works out to 31.38mpg!

said it a million times...the ONLY conceivable complaint about my truck. 15.6 avg MPG, mix of country/city......would kill for that mileage.....

Had got 24.7 mpg on a trip took it in for service and they screwed it up. Last weekend did a 400 mile trip best was 20.1 almost all was 50 to 55 mph. Can't go 70mph shakes too bad.

This summer I've done two round trips from central Ontario to Kapuskasing 650 kilometers one way, Yes. GM's cold weather test facility. No one home in the summer. Travelled 10-15 kilometers over the posted limit. Two guys and their junk for a week of fishing. Both trips, were the same 24.5 mpg imperial going up and 25 mpg imperial coming back. 21 mpg imperial lifetime average. Almost 10,000 miles .

Gas mileage topic is always amusing, like fishing and bench racing. Especially after a few beers.

This. I used to own a Evo IX, and there was a similiar thread on an EVO forum where dudes were always spouting off about their 30+ mpg uphill both ways 500 mile round trips to work. Used to crack me up.
