What is One thing you love about your 2014/2015 Silverado/Sierra

To you guys with the 6.2, did you have to order your truck through a dealer or where you able to find a dealer that stocked 6.2's? The reason I ask is because my Dad is wanting something new to drive. He currently has a 2012 Ford 3.5eb Lariat but loves the look of my truck, and the 2015 F150's are selling high at near sticker price. So I suggested he try a 6.2 over the 5.3 as he towes pretty regularly. However, I called a few dealers in the DFW area and 4x4 15' 6.2's are pretty hard to get a ahold of. I called Gateway GMC, one of the larger GM dealers here in Dallas, and where I bought my truck; and the salesman said they don't order or stock any 6.2's. He said can get them but it will be a factory order which would take 6-8 weeks.

After looking on autotrader I only found 72 available for sale in the US, the closet being 200 miles away and its only a double cab.

I bought my 6.2 off the dealers lot. They had two in stock at the time.

I love the High Country front end, saddle interior and of course the 6.2! I love the looks of the Sierra and the interior quietness.

Never in my life would I have thought I wanted or needed a heated steering wheel; especially in LA, but damn that is a nice gadget.

i'm going to go with the interior styling. IMO it looks better than any other truck out there. I never imagined i'd own a truck that didn't have a center counsel, but this one I actually enjoy.

My '15 Sierra All Terrain is 10x quieter than '05 Silverado..... But that's about it. I wish I never got rid of my '05. Never had 1 complaint on my '05!

6.2. I've had two, no three of them before this '14. The prior one was a good engine but GM really handcuffed it with abysmal shifting parameters. Not the '14 though. Love it. Really reminds me of driving a 400 small block from 40+ years ago.

Wouldn't have been a must have before....but now that I have it will not buy another without the heated steering wheel :ughdance:

Ditto, had one of my customers come up to me today and ask if I had a issue with defrosting the front window ;o)

Because v8's.

Its been scientifically proven that babies love v8's.

I've got a 5.3l 2015 Sierra now, and had a 4.3l 2014 Silverado last year.

Of the two, I'm more impressed with the 4.3l for this reason:

The 4.3l is a V6 that drives a lot like last gen 4.8 and 5.3 V8s. I pretty much expect the new 5.3 to be better than the old 5.3 (and it is) but the new 4.3l is light years beyond the old 4.3l and makes the 4.3l a viable choice.

My favorite thing about the trucks remains the Auto 4wd. (do love the new styling though as well)

I love the the front end view of my Z71 Silverado. This truck is so much tougher looking than the GMT900's. I like the boxier front end and straighter lines of the vehicle. I've never liked trucks with a bunch of slopes and curves to them.

All the compliments I get when I'm driving around. So many. I notice a lot of rubbernecking too when I pass by people. It's great to own such a nice truck!

If I have to pick one thing, I'd say its the overall comfort (rides nice, lots of interior space, very quiet interior).

If I can add more, I'd say the looks, the motor, and the overall creature comforts.

I came from an '03 Explorer, so this thing is a HUGE improvement over that and I'm lovin it.
