What did you trade-in to get your truck...

Ignore the fanboy. Nice ride. I've never seen that stripe pattern. Different. MUCH better than some secretary's grocery-getter econobox.

Too bad you didn't keep it. I kept mine. WAY too much fun to sell.

Oh come on now its just a harmless jab us car guys do it left an right at car meets in good fun. Not a fan boy either just didn't care for the new Camaro SS or ZL1 or SRT8 Challenger.

Well easy to say that since it's a V6 Camaro. Not saying a V6 pony car is gutless, but I wouldn't sacrifice so I'd have to have a V8 in any car. Same for my trucks lol. But to be fair, how much did that GT500 cost ya compared to a Camaro SS lol. I like all 3 of the big 3, but Shelbys can cost a lot of money. I'd rather get a Mustang GT and mod it up. Could make it faster for cheaper than the GT500 lol. Same for modding a Camaro SS to be faster than a ZL1.

At the end of the day, I'd rather have a classic muscle car rather than a modern pony car. I have a feeling I would take care of a classic a lot better and maybe it would make me not want to drive it into the ground like I did my last truck. I would have to upgrade to a FI system though.

Damn I didn't know that was a V6. I was just busting his chops, harmless fun guys. My GT500 was actually pretty inexpensive in terms of GT500 prices. I paid $38,000 out the door for a 2012 loaded out with 10,400 miles. I thought about getting a mustang but they are a dime a dozen in my area so I went with the more unique GT500. Miss that car from time to time.

Watch it

LOL! You have anything done to your SS? One the guys in the local car club has got about 700rwhp in his 2011. He's looking at doing a TH400 pretty soon.

There are two things Ryan doesn't like.

1) talking crap about Camaros

2) using hashtags

I know it was just joking around. I was just making a point I guess lol. Not a bad price, but brand new it was probably the cost of a base Corvette. Sports cars seem to be the type of vehicle that takes the biggest hit on depreciation, same goes for high end cars. The GT500 is cheap compared to the upgrade Super Snake. Like I said, I like all 3 of the "Big 3" so I won't just talk random crap about something else unless someone started it. I'm just opinionated lol.

The reason I said I may need to have a classic muscle car over a modern pony car is because I know I would drive the hell out of the modern car and get into more trouble than I did in my old 98 Silverado. I almost bought a 4th gen Camaro Z28 a few years ago before the 5th gens even came out but I decided not to. I would have to get a classic muscle car to take care of it instead of abusing it.

BMW 135i 38k miles, 6 speed, perfect condition. It sat so long in my garage that a mouse built a nest in it. Thought I cleaned it all out, but I kid you not, I saw a mouse jump out from under my car as I was talking to the sales rep after they did the trade in inspect. About crapped my pants. They didn't see it :)

2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Crew Cab SLT with 80,000 km, It was a great truck... Loved that HEMI engine. I wasn't even in the market for a new truck, was just taking a look at the beautiful 2015 Black High Country on the lot and they made me a deal I couldn't; say no to... The more I drive the new one the more I like it. :chevy:

I bought a 2015 1500 CC Silverado Z71 Standard Bed LTZ on saturday, I traded in a 2008 1500 CC Z71 with 162,000 miles.

09 Sierra with 27K on the clock.

At least I don't feel quite as crazy now... looking at maybe trading off an 08 Sierra with 35k on it. I almost fear I've kept it a couple years too long as it is (lost value/equity).

Got a pic? Haven't seen a blue hc

The only pics I have of mine are my wife's from her scouting trip to check out the color.

Not good pics as it is dirty and in the middle of a row of other trucks.

It started raining the minute I took delivery and has been dirty ever since. We really need

some nice weather here in central PA.

Here is a pic from a dealership that I found on the web. Mine has had the side High Country

badges removed and the 4x4 decal on the side of the bed is gone too.

I like the blue. A bit darker than my 2003 but still nice. Much better than the dark red that

was available in 2014.
