I've been driving 4x4 pickups since 1976, mostly GM, but I've had Fords too.

I bought my 2014 1 year ago, and can honestly say it's buy far the best truck I've ever owned. I 'invent' places to go just so I can drive it!

Call me crazy, but I think tech is at the point, and has been for a decade now, where any modern vehicle should go 100k, without any issues, save for tires, oil, brakes, and such.

I get so sick of seeing threads like this. If you have the chicken little mentality, "the sky is falling, the sky is falling"; then don't buy a new GM pickup.

I've had my 14 for over a year with zero problems. My neighbor who has an early build 14, has had zero problems. My pastor with his 4x4 14 has had zero problems. 2 other people I know who have 14's have had zero problems.

This site is the worse I have ever been on. You have idiots here whining about the new GM trucks because he can't fit inside the truck wearing his cowboy hat. Or there is the thread about people complaining about their sunglasses not fitting. I just LMAO at these people who complain about these dumb things.

If you listen to all the people who whine on this site and do nothing but bash the truck and you have the "chicken little mentality", thinking something is going to happen to your truck you haven't even bought yet; then don't buy one.

Go buy another brand. Stay off the Dodge/Ram & Ford sites though; because people bitch and whine about those trucks too.

Damn, I wish I had read this thread before plopping down the cash on my '15 LTZ. Now I'm stuck "rolling" this crappy truck :(

Really dude???? I hope you're just being sarcastic.

The quotation marks are usually a dead giveaway, dude.

If you had read a bunch of Board comments on the '06 before shopping for that one, you probably wouldn't have bought that one either...

Love my '14 Denali

Look at it this way:

How many people are members to this forum? Let's just a "few" thousand.

How many new GM trucks have been built since 2014? "SEVERAL MANY MUCHO" thousand.

You will always hear about the negative things. But look at the percentage. How many 100% HAPPY owners do you think there are out there that aren't even on this site?

If you run through the drive thru at (pick your favorite place) and have great service, do you go on and on about it and try to find answers and reasons as to why it happened like that? No, you just enjoy your meal. BUT, do you make sure your voice is heard when you have bad service? Absolutely! We all do the same thing.

These trucks wouldn't be selling like hot cakes if they "weren't good".

16 months of driving joy. The wifes luxury car stays in the garage, she rather ride in the truck and I rather drive the truck. The best part is I just paid 1.35 a gallon for E85 at my local Krogers.
