This is true. My SLE is the Texas Edition and comes with some type of package. I have all leather seats, power seats, soft touch dash, the doors have leather inserts and are soft touch, all the aluminum inserts are real aluminum. Only thing I'm missing, is a auto dim rear view mirror. I tough I had it but I guess not... My SLE was dang near 45K, so it wasn't cheap.

Tint your Windows and you will never need an auto dim mirror. I have 5% on my front and did 5% over the rear factory tint. wont ever have to worry about being blinded from someone behind me

Never doing it again... I had 12% on my last car all around, couldn't see to back up at night, granted we have a camera now, but I like the mirrors for a few reasons, biggest being, a couple drops of water and they aren't worthless.

I won't tint mine super dark anymore for that exact same reason. Even with the lighter tint, when I open the back window up, I can't see for shit out of the side it slides to in mid day.

Hahaha. The Silverado headlights is what sold me on buying the Chevy over the Sierra. Infact had the 2014 model not changed up the front end entirely from the previous years this man would probably still be driving a Tundra. Never was a fan of the "soft" sloping front end on the last generation Silverado truck. I love the "FIST IN THE WIND" look that the Silverado gives off.

Are you sure your's is Iridium owing to your colorblindness...my truck is Summit white, not White Diamond...better get off the couch with that popcorn and get in to see an eye doc :nonod:

After looking at the Chevy I didn't realize the there were 4 until you guys said it. I don't like that and was looking for the projector on the sierra. From what I'm seeing on the forum and my research there isn't much difference between the two. I am going to look at both and hopefully drive both for a night and see which one to go with as it's not much difference in cost. Thanks for everyone input.

I think the silverado is plain & looks like ass...Most people know the siera is the stylish step up from the silverado... not knocking the quality cause they are the same truck at heart but now I would have kept it to myself if you werent bashing a sexy ass truck. My all terrain sierra really is one hell of a stylish truck and gets compliments on the " crappy " led trimmed lights & high end grille all day ....just sayin

Yeah. I'm going to look at both trucks. I was looking at the all terrain. I will look at the ltz z71 as well as the ltz. I hate making a choice lol.

Lol... I just looked at the pic and guessed... Honestly, I didn't even think summit white was an option on Denali, with the super limited color choices they give us.

I like them both. I'm happy with the chevy but i would be just as happy with a gmc. For me i woke up 1 Saturday morning and said i need a truck. Went that afternoon to test drive a Ford with the wife and the baby ... i thought a double cab would work, it didn't with the base/ carseat at as all on the Ford so we went to the next dealer a chevy 1. Double cab a no go again. But after see my truck in there lot. I new i wasn't getting a double cab... in all. I love my truck. Spent a lot of my OT cash and side work to make it mine just like i would've for any brand. .. im st 31,xxx miles in not even a year.

I fell in love with the Sierra because of the massive front grille, and LED bars in the headlights. Thats JMO, so pick whichever one makes you walk backwards into work because you're too busy staring at it....

      The engine was done as part of the 6.2 recall?   You'd have to see if your VIN also has the 6.2 engine special coverage on it.  Coverage number is N252494003.  If you have this, your engine is covered under this and NOT the GM replacement part engine warranty which is 3yr/100k from the date of install.  The 3yr/100k mi warranty is in effect for non warranty purchases.     This is not any different if it was replaced under warranty without a recall or special coverage.  So if you had a 5.3 and it popped at 3 years in at 50,000mi during the 5yr/60k powertrain, the replacement engine would not get the 3yr/100k, and instead gets the remainder of the 5yr/60k as coverage.     So N252494003 gives 10 years or 150,000mi of coverage, which ever comes first, starting at the vehicle in service date.  So if your in service date is 01/01/2022, N252494003 gives you special coverage of the engine until 01/01/2032 or 150,000mi, whichever comes first.  So if your start date was 01/01/2022, you'd have left 5 years and 4 months (lets round to august 1st), or 62,000mi left of coverage.   So you need to know your in service date to know how much coverage is left.

      Okiee dokie there bud, way to take things to the extreme.   I guess you missed the whole point and take things way to serious. I installed different EV6 style injectors that just so happen to be larger in my car running the same LQ4 engine and with a better spray pattern than the stock style injectors and I noticed no difference in the idle quality. Kinda was my round about way of saying that even if you put the same size but better style injectors in your truck, you will likely see the same thing.    I'm sure you're great to have conversations with in person if that's how you act through a keyboard. One little things sets you off and now I guess my dick is all up in your face.

      I can't believe that could possibly be the case. It should be 36mo/100k miles from installation. Then again, it also seems like since a dealership installed it, it'd all be in the system and you wouldn't need to worry about registering, either. Shows you what I know. 😄 Hope this one outlives the warranty!

      I haven't seen inventory recovery from COVID.    In the few random times I 'build my own' truck or SUV, no one has the exact one I want.   GM has been working to lower incentives too for a long time.    A $500 incentive isn't getting me off the couch to go truck shopping.
