Seat upgrade or modification

I recently purchased a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT. My wife is not at all happy with the comfort of the passenger seat, i.e. no lumbar, unable to raise the seat, etc. Looking for recommendations for something perhaps as simple as a good seat cushion or if necessary, a complete replacement.

Good question! My wife said the same thing - her back was getting sore after an hour or so in it.

Wondering if there is a bladder/control that can be easily installed to the existing seat for some lumbar support? Mine doesn't mind the manual slide/back tilt, she just wants some support in the lower back area. I'd rather not have a pillow permanently riding around in the truck...

Bump...

Has anyone figured something out? I found a few generics, but I'd rather find one that was made for the silverado seats, or at least see how someone used a generic in a silverado.

I plan on swapping my cloth seats to katzkin covers soon and my wife doesn't like that her seat doesn't have lumbar. This truck is a 2015 2LT Z71... my base 2000 Z71 LS had cloth seats with lumbar... go figure.

SLT, Denali, or High County seats? I know my SLT has lumbar on both, so I would figure the other 2 does too.

The GMT800 seats were far and away more comfortable then the 900 or K2 seats.

I actually like my K2 seats better, but the GMT800's were good too. Ironically, I never use the lumbar, I hate the feeling of my lower back being pushed on, and my wife maxes out the lumbar in every vehicle we have (that has it.)

Maybe I'll do the DS seat first in Katzkin and see how it all works/fits together, and see if I can fit/order the parts from GM to build one for the PS.
