MyLink issues since IOS9

I had the same problem but I found a solution that worked for me until Apple comes up with a fix. On your iphone go to settings>siri and turn siri off. The problem went away for me. You can still use your hands free dialing and when you end your call, you will go back to the music you were listening to. I don't use siri was it was no great loss for me anyway.

I just did this and it works. Too bad for Siri, I had her set to female British accent just so I could listen her. Haha.

Does this mean you won't get sound of any sort when using a 3rd party app like Waze?

A little off subject. Have a friend with a 14 silverado and in the my link where it shows the favorites at the bottom of the screen they disappear when you change the channel and have to bring them back up. He said he cleaned the screen with the truck off and its been doing this every since. Any ideas?

Have him check the "favorites to display" setting. He is aware he can touch them and swipe left/right/up/down move through them or show/hide more

I checked his settings everything is set right to show favorites they just keep disappearing. I set it just like my sierra but his want keep them could be a problem with his my link.

I have no clue. I do not use Waze. I guess you just need to turn off Siri and see what happens. You can always turn Siri back on.

I think it is a setting under radio where the number of favorites to be shown can be selected. I believe if you pick the automatic option, then they will disappear when you select a channel. I have mine selected to 5 and I don't have that issue.

I'd like to know this also. The problem is so annoying I end up just listening to the music on my phone after 10 times of changing the radio back.

I don't use Waze but I'm fairly certain Siri won't affect it. It should use the same option that Maps does when it plays route guidance over the speakers when listening to XM radio.

I have mine set on auto and they show all the time but his will not stay when set on auto or 5.
