Seen the national bird today(Bald Eagle) within a mile of my house today! What a sight! Glad I live in the good old USA! Repeated the national anthem! Never seen one in the 45 yrs I have lived here. Take a deep breath and say thanks to all that serve and protect this great nation. God Bless America! He was having squirrel for supper!

I see them all the time.

If it has been 45 years without..

it is a messenger. Must be staying warm there, they normally retreat.

it is very good to see one, they are very sensitive to open dumps, even roads that don't smell right.

I pay close attention to them.

..and god bless america. :)

There are two that have a nest on the land we hunt. Definitely cool to see sitting in the nest and take off.

You don't realize how big they are until you see one in person. And their nests are huge too.

Bald eagles are decently common here. When I was younger we had a couple golden eagles roosting in a pasture. Very cool to see them flying around.

We have them in our neighborhood. Really cool to see them flying. Few wks ago when my wife took my son to the bus stop there was one sitting on a house looking towards them. She didnt have her phone so no photo :(

The American Bald Eagle is a great and powerful bird just like all our US military/veterans service people.

We have a ton of them here in the high Oregon Desert. Majestic doesn't even begin to describe them :flag: . They drive my dog crazy though....like somehow he could magically fly and catch one haha

They're supposed to be common here in Michigan but I haven't seen one. But staying on the theme of the title of this topic, my new plate:
