2015 duramax remote start failure

My 2015 2500hd duramax has intermittent issues remote starting. Tries and quits repeatedly with no actual start. Key starts then dies. More prevalent in cold weather. Dealer serviced said key fobs needed to re-communicate with body computer. Symptom still exists. Any feedback on this issue?

Is the engine turning over but not starting, or engine not turning over but lights light up like it attempted to start, but doesn't even crank over. The more specific about any details the better.
