Do you back into a spot or pull in?

I back in every time doesn't matter if I'm in the car or truck.

Yep, me too. I back in or pull through whenever possible. Always take an end parking spot when available. Used to work for a global company that completed a study on backing in vs pulling in. They found that you were fourteen times more likely to have an accident backing out vs pulling out after backing in. Backing into parking spaces was mandatory in company vehicles and got me in the habit. Good habit to practice.

Like others i back in for reasons stated. Also installed large blind spot mirrors as soon as i bought my truck. Factory small one didn't work for me. My dad got me into using blind spot mirrors and i love them now. Much safer all around driving in my opinion

I've only ever owned a truck and was taught to back in. I don't really know how to nose in a spot, only time I nose in is on angled spots. I lost 5 points on my drivers license test because the damn spot they made me park in was made for cars and I wasn't allowed to back in or I'd fail. Can't back in at the courthouse parking garage either, get a ticket if you do.

back in 90% of the time - way easier/less risky pulling out seeing what is in front of you vs. backing out of a spot in a packed lot, backing into a spot people tend to keep their distance - and with the parking sensors, camera and power tilting windows its as easy as can be.

With the turning radius of roughly an 18-wheeler or maybe one of those large mining dump trucks where the tires are taller than our trucks, backing in is practically mandatory.

Trying to back these trucks out of a parking spot, with as long as they are your ass is most of the way out before you can see around the cars next to you and actually check traffic, so better hope other people are watching and stop for you.

Prefer to back in, but that's somewhat more difficult in the winter due to the need to plug in.

I almost always back in too. It's supposed to be safer and I find it easier with the truck especially with the backup camera.

Depends, I do both but most important to me is I park away form everyone or in the back and walk. So parking away most of the time I can pull through to the next spot.

Saw on another thread people were mentioning how it was tough to pull their trucks into parking spots. 90% of the time I back into a spot. About the only time I pull into one is if I have a straight shot or the opportunity to pull through to the next spot. To me the tighter the parking the easier it is to back in. Backing in you don't have to judge the swing of the long square front end and using your side view mirrors and backup camera you can pretty much see everything around you.

The first thing I did when I bought my Silverado was stick them round blind spot mirrors on. The factory blind spot mirror was usless, I couldn't even see the lines when backing into parking spots.

With the hood body lines on this truck, I'm a terrible parker when driving forward into a space. I back in almost 90% of time, which is 10 times easier because of reverse camera.
