has anyone installed a led light bar be hine a Z71 grill that has cross bars ,or is it a waste of time/money ????? if you did how was the light output.

I have a Z71 grille and i installed a 30" Rough Country dual row. The light output is good, but not great. i think about half of the light gets blocked. Its very bright while looking at it from outside and while driving, but the light does not go that far. Im just gonna buy different grille inserts.

I installed Rigid Industries D2 pod LED lights with their conversion kit, so they look like they were made to fit my 2015 Sierra. They are square LED lights, so I am not sure what you are looking to for. There's a great installation video on line and it was relatively easy. You do have to cut some plastic inside the hole to fit the lights but the video shows you what to do. Install took me about 3 hours and the lights plug right into the factory wire harness. They lights look GREAT on the truck, but I will tell you they are BRIGHT and I only run them in the fog or when no other vehicles are in front of me. I really don't need them as much as I used the original fog lights since replacing my factory headlight bulbs... much much better now!

Could you please give me the link for the install video? And do you have to completely remove your bumper to install these lights?
