Climate Control 80 degrees

So on my way leaving work yesterday, my feet were a little cold so I turned my heater on 80 degrees and set the vents to the floorboard, turned off the circulation and had to turned off the AC ( since I have to manually turn off the AC every time I start the truck ). After driving a while I noticed my feet were getting colder so I turned the vents on the dash on as well. Sure enough, it was blowing cool, not super cold but very cool. I turned the temp up to 82..... piping hot, back to 80 cool again.

 

Has anyone else noticed this big temperature jump from 80 to 82 degrees on their climate control or is it just me?
