Well guys I traded in my gmc 1500 in today for a high country. Found a great deal and have been needing 4x4. Had a question can the display be updated to the one that reads the txt? Any other fun upgrades or tips.

The display can be upgraded by purchasing the gm in motion blue ray and navigation unlock module. It's a plug and play module that unlocks the gps navigation and blueray functions while your driving instead of having to stop in order to input addresses or control the blueray player. It also unlocks the text messaging feature if your truck doesn't already have it. I believe the module is around $250 on Amazon
