Darkfox I have a 15 Tungsten. Almost all most close to that as I think mine looks brown. In certain light it's greyish but mostly brown. I still am not sure huge fan of the color ....plus min has the chrome grill and bumper.. The..but yours as well as mine I think will look phenomenal lifted, with nice wheels and tires and some flares

This is mine

I really feel the wheels is the biggest thing holding us both back in the looks department

Tundra is second place. Titan is by far the ugliest thing on the road.

Maybe we should start a poll? Tundra vs. Titan for ugliest truck!

What brand? It's a metallic paint and looks reddish in some light and amber/bronze/copper in others, I kinda figured they wouldn't be able to match it.

If there's already a match for it in wraps I'd sure like to go for it, they told me it'd cost well over $1000 because it'd take multiple visits and I'd be charged $150 per color sample that they tried.

I'm not gonna modify the suspension on this thing, it can't even idle smooth, so I'm just gonna let it be in that way. no powertrain or suspension mods, just general cosmetics, I just want the front end to stop bothering me.

A 14/15 front end swap would probably trigger some error codes on the DRLs, I'd need all the parts painted since ABM is a '16 color.

tbh that'd probably cost more than a painted front end swap. I can PROBABLY have a body shop paint the headlight trim (maybe? idk how that works..)

TBH, I did some playing around in photoshop, the LTZ grill and LTZ chrome center cap thingy on the lower bumper does look a good bit better than the toothy LT grill..

Color matching would go along way with this truck i think. maybe a all terrain tire too with a 1.5 level. dont be scared of the level kit it does not void the warranty, most people on here who dont mind the rake but want to not affect the ride at all will do a 1.5 kit and be totally satisfied. a good body shop wont charge you that much to paint all that just shop around for prices.

OK so here's what I've come up with:

if you buy all new parts:

each headlight is $750 (you can't buy just the trim) it needs to be painted, comes in w/t black.

paintable bumper is $440 in w/t black, needs to be painted.

grill is $600, he didn't tell me if this is factory painted, I would assume it is? it's a z71 LT grill from an ABM trucks vin.

chrome center trim is $230 plus the lower bumper beam which I have't priced yet (he didn't include it in the quote)

so if you bought all new components for the front end you're looking at around 4-5k when its all said n done.

Vynil wrapping sounds MUCH cheaper if the color can be matched, if it cant.. the ENTIRE TRUCK can be wrapped in a different color for $3k.

However.. vynil lasts 5-7 years, so you would need to refresh it eventually or it'd start to damage the paint.

I think my problem is the grill itself. I dont like the grill, I dont like the "teeth" in the grill. I also dont like the plain black center of the lower bumper trim.

I can buy a new LT grill as shooped up there for about $600 (yea.. crazy right?) the center chrome piece is $230 plus the lower valence that accepts it (different for LT to LTZ) OR I can try to have mine vynil wrapped in chrome.. but that will pose a problem with the shape of it. The LT and LTZ lower center valence things are shaped differently. going the LTZ route would probably be $1000 or just over. I MIGHT be able to make a deal with my body shop man. He buys my LT parts in exchange for ordering the LTZ parts for me? Maybe? idk. Might soften the blow on my wallet.

kinda wish I would have gotten a white or black truck now. I'd vynil wrap the front end and be done with this.

the HC looks better sure, but not from every angle.

I think its the way the grill goes so much lower than the headlight. We have the same headlight foot print as a 14/15 on these trucks, but the grill dips a good bit lower, or.. at least in a more obvious way.

The LT and HC grilles both dip down the same on the 2016's. If it were me I would look into buying just the HC bumpers and mounting them (front and rear for best effect or only front if you are worried about cost). Since your take-off bumpers would be practically new you should be able to get a fair price for them. Then just leave the grille alone. Just swapping out the chrome bumper will make a huge difference ...

The rims on if are boring, it will really change the truck with a set of factory 20's or 22's IMO. And I would wrap the front end or get it painted, yeah it will set you back but it will look a lot better. Also the clear turn signals that come on the LTZ's look better too!
