So I was playing with the setting on the center dash screen and found remote windows setting. I activated it and I can now hold the unlock button down on the FOB and they roll down. But the issue is when I try and roll them up they won't roll up if I hold the lock button or unlock button. WTF?!

It is a roll down only option, no option to roll them back up. Pretty stupid, but that is how they are programmed.

2016 only? Pretty cool feature,at least for south florida where I can let out the 200 degree air before I get to my truck

Not sure about older years. It's nice I guess for that reason but I just wish I could roll them up.

I know MVI & Chris White/GTX.... work together for BCM updates, He can update your BCM to allow auto up, not sure if it works for the rear.

Works on my 15 Denali but I like the remote start much better. 15-20 seconds of cold A/C working before getting in the truck does much better than dropping the windows. I also use the fitted windshield shade and that make a huge difference in the hot FL sun. Mines white and does not get nearly as hot as the dark colored vehicles.

Yeah, works on my '15 as well. Pretty stupid if you ask me. If anything, it should be able to go up versus down, like my Passat does.

There was no remote controlled up option on the Range Rover, Mini Cooper,or Mazda we owned in the past. All could roll down with the remote.

Cannot count the number of time I said to myself 'Grumble Grumble, I wish the windows would roll up when I lock the truck by default' From a computer/logical standpoint it is pretty pointless to lock something if the windows are all the way down right?

Yeah I use the remote start as well. But sometimes I forget to blast my AC before shutting off the truck in the morning so it doesn't do much good. Plus it takes a bit for the air to get cold. Where are you in SWFL?

I think the 15 started with this option. My14 didn't have it
