Install larger fuel tank

Wondering if its possible to install a larger gas tank in the 2015 Silverado LTZ crew cab short box. When searching it says it will fit a 8 ft box but doesn't say anything about the short box.

I would say you answered you own question. Likely there is not enough room which is why it is not listed.

Tank is longer... rear axle in the way... a few years ago I had a 1990 extra cab long bed. I made it a short bed. It had a longer tank.. I found a smaller tank comes in the regular cab short beds and extra cab short beds.. anything is possible..

Sure it will fit but you are going to have to remove the rear axle to make room.

You could buy an ecoboost, they hold 10 gallons more than a Chevy, but for some reason you don't seem to get any further...

I dont see where it says what size the tank is?

Anyone ever figure this out. I've hear people theorize a 2500 6.0 tank might work, I don't want an in-bed tank.

Coming from an f150 with 36gal I feel like I'm filling this thing up daily. Not actually but if plan to tow my travel trailer cross County this summer and hope some finds a solution. Anybody got a solution yet?

What about the Titan tank that fits the spare tire location? It's like 30 gallons? Is it gas rated, or just diesel?
