2016 Silverado bumper filler

Could you help me out with some measurements. I figure I can get the length of the straight section of tubing. But what is the lenght of the bent piece of tubing before the 45 bend downward?

Also, where did you mount the two bottoms brackets to under the truck?

I'll throw a tape measure on it and grab some dimensions when I get a chance. The lower tube has two tabs that are bolted to some existing tabs hanging down from the bumper brackets. You can see the bumper tabs in the first post.

Thanks man, I saw a couple different sets of bolts under the truck too I wasn't sure if you may have mounted it to them.

Just came across this post cause I was looking at mazullas tube/skid. Great job on your work! Looks clean.

 

Taking time and cost into consideration, If you had to do it all over again, would you do mazullas kit, or yours?

I would choose mine of course. I have very little cost in mine since I had the materials already.

 

There is a company called SDHQ that makes a skid just like the Mazulla piece and it has cut outs for the tow hooks.
