Upgrade priority

I'm curious on what your first substantial or "best" upgrade was for your truck; i.e. tune, tires/wheels, custom exhaust, cai, etc and the reason why.

I already have some bilsteins waiting to be installed but not sure where to go from there.....

Expel clear bra for front of truck. Previous 2009 got chewed up by the Northeast winters.

That's kind of where I'm at. Installed the Bilsteins and have some Falken Wildpeak AT3 275/60/20's waiting to go on. Every night I search what mods I want to do..I just don't want to do something I regret. I'm thinking tune, AFE Momentum intake, 3" lift blocks to replace factory. Maybe remove factory side steps.

Turning off V4 would be high on my list. You won't believe how much better you truck drives.

Intake, exhaust, tune, suspension with tires and then whatever misc cosmetic stuff

Replacing oem tires has a tremendous impact on performance and looks. This would be my first choice. However, if your goal is to have a lifted truck with over-sized wheels then, you may want to choose a level or lift as your first priority.

Flowmaster muffler swap - Most enjoyable

WeatherTech floor liners - Most functional

Westin steps - Quality, looks and function

OEM Bed tie downs - Great design and function

Stainless exhaust tip - Looks and safety over the sharp tailpipe

Drivers side grab handle - Find myself not using it - maybe the wife will...

Paint protection, aka clear bra.... I did my entire front section of my truck, full hood and fenders and bumper. DO NOT SKIP THIS.

GM floor liners.

Sound deadening.

Blower with supporting mods. (wish I had the money to buy a blower, or LT4 swap)

Magnaflow muffler swap was first. I am at 54k miles and will wait till 75k for the tune and E85 sensor. I plan on headers and cam eventually.

Which Magnaflow did you go with?

Exhaust was the most enjoyable, tune the most drastic improvement, subwoofer the most pleasing for long drives, suspension for looks.

New tires and level kit completely changed the look and stance of the truck.
