Is there a way to order it with color matched door handles? Charcoal grey? I don't want black or chrome. I could see it on the online chevy truck builder website. tia

Find someone who will swap? That's about it really. Heck, the dealer could always find a truck on the lot the same color and they can add accessory chrome handles to the window sticker of that truck (installing your chrome ones on that truck) and take the color set and put them on yours. Or, they may have had a customer who's done a color to chrome handle swap and they have a takeoff set laying around. Ebay works too.

I wouldn't let chrome door handles and mirror caps discourage you. They look good chrome and are easily swapped for body colored. Between the time that I first started looking at my truck on the lot and the day I purchased it, the dealer added their "chrome" package. (hooks, caps, handles and nerf bars) This didn't make me want this truck more but it didn't discourage me either. After having my truck for awhile, I now prefer the chrome accents!

I personally like the chrome handles and mirror caps, that's one of the main reasons I finally decided to go with the LTZ, along with other little luxuries you won't get on the LT.

There is much colors and crap I can't stand either....Until the salesman says...You want the freaking 12K off here is a black one! I soon get over everything I despised about colors and what not because now I am happy!

Yeah, they bother me too! But I'd accept plain black mirrors, but I do like the color coded handles. Except the white ones for some reason!

I do want the LTZ and some of the finer features it comes with, like vented seat package. (although may be available on LT also, not sure but when its hot out, that's going to be nice!

Yeah each to his own. I'm just not a big chrome guy I guess. I also don't too crazy on that LTZ chrome grill. That sucker is "in" your face lol! I may mod that and paint it matt black or plastidip it

The dealer will swap them to an LT to make a deal. Someone might even be keen to the swapped LT with the chrome on it and want it more.

I believe you order them primed and ready for paint. However, as Epsilon Plus suggested, a dealer will make the colored handles appear on your truck in order to make a sale! I suspect a "chrome package" appeared on my truck while it was on the lot in order to meet the needs of another sale!

You could just remove all emblems and trim. Then just left with handles, mirror, and grill.

The chrome definitely grows on you. Especially if you decide to go LTZ then Z71 because you can't handle the LT grill. Now I'm all the way to chrome side steps and tailgate handle as well.
