Service traction control, engine surging etc

I just purchased a 2013 2500hd with the 6.0 from a dealership last week with 84k miles on it.

 

Tonight I started it and the service traction control light came on with the message on the info center. That's weird but then the doors started locking and unlocking themselves, the gauges kept going on and off, the engine would surge under any throttle so bad I couldn't drive faster than 55mph and the CEL came on.

 

I took a video of what it is doing.

 

 

The engine codes I got were pending and they are

P105C

P2544

 

Has anyone dealt with anything like this before?

I would start with cleaning grounds, or taking it back to the dealer you bought it from. Sounds like a bad connection somewhere

I figured it out, I have an obdlinkmx that I usually leave plugged into my trucks, had it on my 03 for a year and a half with no issues, but I unplugged it and all the problems immediately cleared up. I tested it a few more times with the same result.

 

Lesson learned, be careful with those Bluetooth readers, there's no lasting effects but they can cause havoc in some cases. My guess is it was pulling more ram from the ecu then it's supposed to and things started loosing signal. This is one of the expensive readers too not the super cheap Amazon ones.
