Lower chrome bumper trim

Hey there! 

 

Just curious is the lower chrome on the bumper for the z71 is able to be bought or if the whole bumper needs to be replaced as one piece? I want to add it to my 2017 silverado.

It can be, Skid Plate - GM (23243083).

You know you posted a pic of a Colorado, right? That will not fit your Silverado. But, yes these are available as separate pieces. Just check EBAY.

Well, I take it back. That cropped version really looked like one of the little guys. Still you should be able to find that part on eBay.

Good evening all. Does anyone know if the skid plate comes in anything other then chrome? I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71 in red and I'm not a big fan of the chrome and would like to change it to either the body color or the same black color of the lower bumpers.

Good evening all. Does anyone know if the skid plate comes in anything other then chrome? I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71 in red and I'm not a big fan of the chrome and would like to change it to either the body color or the same black color of the lower bumpers.

Z71 will get you chrome but I believe non z71 come black.

Yes, it can be bought.  Someone's posted the part number on the forums before.

 

Just have to specify you want the chrome piece not black plastic.

To get the black piece, you have to purchase the entire lower bumper filler. GM does not sell it separately. 84029815

GM does not sell it separately! Only the chrome is sold separate of the lower bumper part.
