Hello all!  So I went hunting this weekend and down some gravel roads...and I believe i picked up some paint chips...DOH!!   I don't have overly aggressive tires (285/65r18, on stock rims) but apparently enough to toss some rocks...so...I am looking for some fender flares that aren't too aggressive, just good coverage.  I like the clean look of the Bushwhacker Extend-A-Fender (i prefer to not get the fake bolts).

Do you have any recommendations of something similar?  the Bushwhacker are damn expensive, anything that is comparable but not quite as much?  (or is this the case of you get what you pay for?)

anyway, also I have seen some OEM fenders for sale, didn't know if they had any coverage or would just be a hint of a lip sticking out...

looking for suggestions!  thanks in advance!

I’m interested in knowing too. I would think mud flaps would do more that fender flares though. But bushwhacked catalog doesn’t show pocket flares for the standard bed.

I am in the same boat, and the rock chips are on the front of the rear wheel wells, d'oh.  It looks like the rock gets stuck in the tires and comes out going forward when the tire is turning back down towards the ground.  I have been thinking of using the Husky long john flares on my truck but only having them stick out about 1/2" at the top, just enough to save the paint.  Does anyone have these installed?  They look like just a flat piece of rubber/plastic so they shouldn't to hard to install and adjust to how much a person wants sticking out.
