Auto dim rear view mirror

Installed auto dim rear view mirror in my 14 Silverado LT. PGamboa made me a harness that was preterminated to help the project along total cost around 125.00

 

harness/misc- 75.00

new mirror- 50.00 (eBay)

 

this set me up to get my drivers side auto dim working on my DL3 conversion. GM did not extend the wiring from the junction box to the drivers side door jamb so tapped into the harness I got from Phil and Was able to land terminals on the body side to connect to the drivers side mirror and it works Perfectly

Very nice work!  You are the first who has completed this upgrade and NOT have the circuits between the X61A Junction Box and the door jamb.

Actually I did it before you started working all your electrical magic 

 

I don't have the circuits from 61A but just got 12V power from the airbag light in the upper console.  If Phil had been customizing back when I did it I probably would have ordered a harness from him

Awesome! I meant to say “the first to buy my hanress that didn’t have the wiring between the X61A box” .

Glad to know the X61A box is merely a Junction (at least what it looks like) LOL
