My current floor jacket is dying, and I think it’s time for a new one. Looking for suggestions on a new floor jack. The vehicles I use the jack for our my Sierra,, wife’s 4Runner, and sons Passat.

i have added fluid to the old jack still no help. I can only get a quarter of a full pump out of it. I do not see any signs of fluid leaking either.

Costco.

$100 for a 3 ton.

Maybe in stock at your local store.

Like mine.

Here’s my favorite (for the price). Goes super low, lifts quite high, goes deep (there’s a joke in there somewhere), T handle control is nice. Only drawback is it’s kinda heavy. But I haven’t found a job it couldn’t do. Lifts everything I have. My 13 yr old daughter rotated the front tires with it!  The long handle is also good for leverage. Not great for tight spots.

+1 on the Harbor Freight jacks.  They have a decent selection and work very well.  Wouldn't recommend for daily shop use, but for typical home use they last for years.

IMO a floor jack is not the place to save money.  There is too much riding on it, literally.  Buy the highest quality jack you can get.  If you do, you'll likely pass it down to you kids.

I've had the Craftsman 3 ton for probably at least 10 years. Still works great. Get a good set of Jackstands as well.
