Ceramic Brake Pads Recommended?

I am going to need to replace the brake pads on my 2015 Sierra. Is anyone using ceramic brake pads or is it better to stay with stock ones?  I know ceramic has better life and less dust. Please recommend a brand if you are using them.  Thanks

OE probably was ceramic.

 

Wagner is a good brand.

Ceramic pads and Nitrited rotors = OEM. Anything else is a downgrade. IMHO.

I believe you would fare better with EBC YellowStuff if you wanted to try something different, but yeah, Stock pads are pretty awesome

Use OE ceramic or create some new issues you did not have before.

I’ve not had much dust at all with my OE pads.   Is that a problem with some trucks?

I have a 2010, not sure if they were ever changed before I bought it at 103k. Now has almost 128k. I am enjoying the new rotors and ceramic pads

Probably one of the coolest features on the truck.....the coated Rotors and low dust pads..In all my years of driving the dust is almost non-existent!  F'N superb GM glad Porsche finally copied ya this year!

I really do like how the brakes work on my 17 SLE, especially compared to my previous vehicles. However, I do get pretty noticeable dust buildup, especially inside the barrel of the rim. I clean them out every time I rotate tires, which is about every 10,000km or so. There's a video in my sponsor forum showing how much dust & crap accumulates in that time period.......
