I installed the RC light bar behind the grill of my 17 Sierra with Active Shutters.  Slight modification to the grill and used nylon spacers to allow the light bar to stand off from the shutters. No issues and no CEL.

Where did you get the three LED's and mounting hardware that are above the bowtie?  Was it completely custom, or a kit from somewhere?  TIA, looks great!

I have an aftermarket grille but was able to mount a 20" curved light bar between the grille and shutters on my Sierra.5b6ef4440bce3d004df9eb747602f129.jpge6f25909f6406877c7cdd65a588f7f82.jpg

I got the led lights from superbrightled.com. They are the bolt ones. I think 10 or 12 mm.  I fabricated the mounting brackets and jb welded them to the grill.   I wired them up to the fuse box to come on with the daytime running lights

I was looking on that website, what section would those LED lights be in?

Did you ever do a how-to on this?  Do you have any pics of what you had to trim on the grill?  Im assuming all of the vertical slats need to be cut out and who knows what else.  Are you able to angle the light at all with this?
