Not really that flush but the steps are so big it didn’t matter. They’re whelen Pioneer NANO-6’s however any smaller LED would work.

As for wiring, I tapped the reverse wire from the taillight to trip a relay. Power and ground I grabbed from the back side of the trailer plug. I fused it again since it’s better to be redundant, only needed 5 amps.

I’ll look tonight if the screen gets better, I highly doubt it though. However seeing through the tint using the mirrors should be way better.

Installed a 3 inch by 22 inch curved LED light bar. Cut out the plastic under the license plate. Built a frame with aluminum angle brackets. Still need to wires it up. Plan to tie it into the bright lights.

No, the truck is brand new and the paint is still in great shape. I gave it a good foam bath and have had paint sealant on it. I used surface prep then applied the spray coating

Finally installed a Putco taillight light bar - turns out it's easy with the harness, strongly recommend that for plug n play installation that doesn't soak up a trailer plug (and gives a 4 pin in a pinch).    Also did it without removing the tailgate!   Fully intended to take it off, but then realized it can be done with a helper and some patience.  Thing looks like a light saber under there!

That looks awesome. I have never really liked those that much but that looks great. Do you have a link to the harness?

Pretty busy day for the old girl today. Picked it up from the dealer, they installed remote start, coded my factory fog lights and installed the gm 2” factory lift. Then I went straight to my tire shop to get my wheels and tires installed. At home I had factory GMC floor liners and the under seat rear storage box to install. I’ll post up some more pics tomorrow. Scheduled out to get my level installed on Friday (dealer wouldn’t do it) and getting the bumpers wrapped matte black. Pretty much done after that for a bit. Wallet needs a break.

Thanks! I went with the Rough Country AT4 level. Plan on doing a King upgrade once my warranty is up so I’m just going to run the factory uca for a bit. Im a pavement princess anyway.

Wireless charging for the center console completed.  I hate cables all over the cab, always getting crunched in the console lid etc.  I use the built in wireless pad, but it’s nice for passengers not to have to plug in a cable.  This is a simple DIY project.

 

first I picked up a wireless charger on Amazon, get the 3 coil kind so you get wider coverage.  Took it apart and removed the guts, used packing tape to keep it all together.  Minimizing plastic between the coils and your phone is key.  I tried using a small single coil one, but it just didn’t have the juice to power the phone thru all the plastic.   
 

take the bottom cover off the console lid, just use a plastic tool, it pops off very easy.  Squeeze the lid release to the top.    Inside you’ll see the grid structure that strengthens the plastic.  I used a paid of nippers (side cutters) to clip off the plastic to make a flatter area for the coils.  I trimmed more than I needed to as I thought I was going to use a larger round charging pad, so just trim as needed.   Then I used packing tape to hold the coils and it’s little circuit board together and stuck it in place.   Tested it to make it charges my phone before closing it up.  Ran the usb cable along the bottom and out the hinge and into the center console.  Works great!
